Makers will learn how to use fresh garden vegetables as art utensils to create everything from beautiful flowers to rainbow fish! They will also learn how to make fun sensory tubs with rice, carrots, and other garden supplies.

Gage McAngus

Gage is beginning his 2nd year as Camp Kum-Ba-Yah Programs Director. He leads year-round educational programs to include school visits, summer camp, team building activities, and rentals. While in college preparing for a career in public education, he served as a summer camp counselor and camp technician for the Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission. After serving as a public school teacher and administrator for the past thirteen years in Greenville, SC, he moved to Lynchburg with his wife, a Lynchburg native, and their two children. Through Camp Kum-Ba-Yah's year-round programming, he hopes to provide accessibility and enjoyment for anyone who wants to experience the benefits of the outdoors.
