My name is Andrew Hart and I have been caning chairs for the past two years. I was apprentice to a 40 veteran of the craft and have set up my own shop in Lexington. What started as a hobby has quickly grown to a part time business and is on its way to become my full time employment in the next few years.

What inspired you to make this project?
My neighbor was an upholsterer and caner before he passed away and managed to do both while being completely blind
