Lynchburg Vintage
Lynchburg is full of history. Scattered across basements, garages, warehouses, and old store fronts are relics from the past waiting for their chance at new life. An old coffee pot or pickle jar can become a beautiful terrarium. Chippy painted floor boards of a porch could be the wings of a bird. A vintage camera can be useful again, displaying family photos. The possibilities are endless for the rusty, crusty, chippy, dented, broken, and bent.
Rachael Stanton
Hi, my name is Rachael Stanton. I have lived in Lynchburg for the last four years with my husband and two boys. I love being near the mountains, having four seasons and I love the rich, American history that dwells here. My creative outlet is taking old things and repurposing them into art. I drag my sons to thrift stores on a regular basis and when we hit the estate sales, I head straight for the basement or shed. The junkier, the better! My kitchen table doubles as my studio and my foyer has become my greenhouse. My husband (insert sarcasm) just adores the crafty piles I leave in my wake.
