Musical Geodesic Dome

Engineering
An amazing 7 foot tall geodesic dome that acts like a piano only with this "instrument" the musician just touches one (or many) of the 25 struts of the geodesic dome to trigger musical sounds. It's a combination of art, geometry, and architecture!

What inspired you to make this project?
Buckminster Fuller invented the geodesic dome while working as an instructor at the famous Black Mountain College near Asheville, NC. I thought it would be fun to create an interactive geodesic dome to honor "Bucky".

What are some of the challenges you have encountered and how did you address them?
Bending the PVC pipe ends so they perfectly align with all the other pipes was a challenge.
